Responsibilities and Services
Platform Modernization
Responsible for the comprehensive upgrade from Expo 53 to Expo 54 and the version jump from React Native 0.79.5 to 0.81.5. This included the consolidation and reinstallation of all project-relevant dependencies and tooling.
Migration to New Architecture
Successful activation and integration of the React Native New Architecture (TurboModules & Fabric). This involved adapting native interfaces and build configurations to ensure the app is future-proof and high-performing.
Native System Optimization
Identification and resolution of incompatibilities in third-party libraries, as well as deep-level adjustment of iOS and Android configurations (Gradle, Pods, and build scripts).
Quality Assurance & Testing
Project stabilization through intensive debugging and regression analysis. Execution of comprehensive test cycles using unit tests (Jest), E2E tests (Detox), and manual device tests.
CI/CD & Monitoring
Optimization of CI/CD pipelines for Bitrise and GitLab to accelerate release cycles, ensuring stable app releases integrated with Braze, Sentry, and analytics systems.
Sustainable Code Maintainability
Removal of technical debt and harmonization of platform-specific implementations to ensure long-term maintainability and scalability of the codebase.
